Holiday Meals Ideas For the Family

Food is always a big part of Christmas celebrations. During vacations, it can often be challenging to make healthy meals for the family. Fortunately, with a little planning, you can prepare meals for the family that are healthy and tasty. Below are some healthy recipes and ideas for holiday meals for the family.

1. Smoked turkey breast with Collard Greens:

1.5 pounds of kale,

1/4 pound of smoked turkey breast

1/2 cup of chicken broth

1/4 of chopped onion

one to two teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon.

1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper

Place the cut pieces of green cabbage and turkey in a pot.

Cover with water and cook over medium heat, covered, for 20 minutes. Add onion, celery, red pepper flakes, chicken

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Cool Place the pork around the roast in a roasting pot. Mix the honey mixture and other ingredients in a bowl. Bastethe roast and the pork with the sauce. Cook at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and baste the meat. Cook for another 20 minutes.

3. Honey Mustard Glazed Turkey:

5 pounds of turkey breast,

1/4 cup of apricot preserves,

one tablespoon.

Mustard in the style of honey

Places the turkey breast in the roast. Bake for 2 hours
at 325 degrees. In a bowl, mix the mustard and apricot preserves.
